Scope

This Standard applies only to MEDICAL ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT, MEDICAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY EQUIPMENT used in medical electrical application, and all other equipment forming part of MEDICAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS, hereinafter referred to as EQUIPMENT and/or SYSTEMS designed to be installed and used in accordance with the rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I. /
